LA PALMA

The City Council recently decided to move forward on a project to plant ivy along the block walls on La Palma Avenue as part of the city’s image improvement efforts. The project includes removing 24 ficus trees that have caused damage to sidewalks, while planting 67 trees and adding creeping fig to beautify the walls. The project will cost about $80,000.
