LAGUNA BEACH

The city’s Arts Commission selected resident Louis Longi as winner of the 1999 Artist Design Bench Competition. Longi was chosen over 10 other artists countywide who submitted slides of their work. Longi’s bench, three bronze abstract figures supporting a seating area, will be installed before the Memorial Day weekend at 211 N. Coast Highway, on a pathway leading down to Main Beach.
