FULLERTON
Angela Della Volpe, Cal State Fullerton’s associate dean of humanities and social sciences, was honored Monday in Italy by “Progetto Donna,” a regional cultural association of professional women. The Huntington Beach resident was presented with the Valued Woman Award, which celebrates women who have distinguished themselves by their dedication to family and to fundamental human values. A native of Italy, Della Volpe is an internationally renowned linguistics scholar.
