Valley Fair Wins Awards From Western Fairs Assn.
The 51st District Agricultural Assn.’s 1998 San Fernando Valley Fair garnered 11 awards at the recent Western Fairs Assn. Awards Dinner in Ontario.
Categories ranged from advertising to cooking competitions and scheduling. Fair officials are now seeking a permanent site for the event, which is scheduled to run June 10-13 at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, 480 Riverside Drive, Burbank.
