Making Connections
Concerned about food safety? Contact the FDA’s Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition for a variety of food-related information including juice safety, dietary supplements and raw oysters from Texas.
In addition to receiving food-safety information, callers to the center’s hotline may also report an illness, injury or adverse reaction from a food.
The hotline, at (800) FDA-4010, provides recorded information 24 hours a day in English and Spanish. Callers may also speak directly to a public affairs specialist between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. weekdays.
More information is available at www.fda.gov on the Internet.
