5 Execs Leaving Kellogg in Reorganization
Kellogg Co. said five top executives, including its chief financial officer, are leaving in a management reorganization led by new Chief Executive Carlos Gutierrez, who takes over for Arnold Langbo on April 23. Battle Creek, Mich.-based Kellogg, which makes cereals including Rice Krispies and Frosted Flakes, has been struggling to combat declining sales and profit. The company said Jean-Louis Gourbin, president of the European operations, will leave March 15 to join French food conglomerate Groupe Danone. He will be replaced by Alan Harris, president of Latin America operations. The other executives leaving next month--CFO John Hinton, general counsel Richard Clark and Senior Vice President Robert Creviston--are resigning. Donald Thomason, executive vice president of services and technology, is retiring. Kellogg’s shares fell 25 cents to close at $37.06 on the New York Stock Exchange.
