City officials will join with players, coaches and fans of the North Sunrise Little League on Saturday to celebrate the renovation of Handy Park. A solid brick concession building has replaced the old trailer that served as the selling point for hot dogs and other snacks during games. Residents and players will also find a new picnic shelter and much-improved restrooms. The ceremony begins at noon at the park, 2143 E. Oakmont Ave. All residents are welcome to attend, organizers said.
