Package at LAX Forces Terminal Evacuation
WESTCHESTER — A suspicious package delayed about 800 people Monday at Los Angeles International Airport.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s bomb squad was called to the Tom Bradley International Terminal at about 1:30 p.m., when the lower level of the terminal was evacuated, said airport spokeswoman Charlene Klink.
Police discovered that the object was an abandoned piece of luggage.
