ANAHEIM
To encourage revitalization around the stadium, the City Council on Tuesday will consider adopting a master land-use plan for the area. The plan’s objectives for the 807 acres include promoting economic development by expanding land-use opportunities, streamlining the development process and reducing development fees.
The Planning Commission voted in January to recommend that the council approve the plan. Commissioner Paul Bostwick was the lone “no” vote, saying the proposal could result in small-business owners being driven out. The meeting begins at 5 p.m. in council chambers, 200 S. Anaheim Blvd. Information: (714) 765-5166.
