Senator Resumes Sidewalk Chats

Back from Sacramento after late-night budget wrangling, state Sen. Jack O’Connell will unfold his card table Thursday to talk with constituents.
O’Connell (D-San Luis Obispo), whose sidewalk office hours have become his signature, will be available from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the corner of California and Main streets in downtown Ventura. His local office is at 89 S. California St.
O’Connell represents San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties and a portion of Ventura County, including Ventura, Santa Paula and the Ojai Valley.
“Now that the Legislature has completed work on the budget, I want to take this opportunity to meet face to face with my constituents and discuss any concerns that they may have,” O’Connell said in a press release.
