EU Expert Joins Metzler/Payden

* Nicole Dufft, an economist and expert on the European Union, has joined the portfolio management group of Los Angeles-based Metzler/Payden, a joint venture between money manager Payden & Rygel of Los Angeles and Metzler Bank of Frankfurt, Germany.
* Beverly Center, a Los Angeles shopping center operated by Taubman Co., has appointed Shoshana Puccia tourism specialist. She will be promoting the center as a tourism destination. She previously served as a senior sales manager at Universal Studios Hollywood.
* Lozano Communications Inc., publishers of La Opinion, the nation’s largest Spanish-language daily paper, has appointed two additional members to the Los Angeles-based company’s board of directors.
They are Miriam Muscarolas, 45, senior vice president and western region executive for Bank of America’s wealth strategies group, and Roger H. Molvar, 43, senior vice president and controller of Times Mirror Co.
Lozano Communications is a holding company owned by members of the Lozano family and Times Mirror, parent of the Los Angeles Times.
