The Saddleback Republican Assembly will host a meeting Thursday focusing on annexation and cityhood issues affecting the greater Mission Viejo area. Guest speakers will be Mission Viejo Councilman John Paul Ledesma and Bill Goodwin, a member of the Local Agency Formation Commission.
Topics of discussion include the proposed incorporation of Rancho Santa Margarita, possible annexation of the El Toro Marine Corps Air Station by Irvine and possible annexations of Las Flores and Ladera.
The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. at Clifton’s Cafeteria, 24165 Paseo de Valencia.
