Fountain Valley School District trustees reviewed changes to the dress code Thursday that ban high heels and thick-soled shoes that are popular among teenagers. Soles can’t be thicker than an inch, and heel’s can’t top 1 1/2 inches.
They are also considering banning jogging shorts, exercise tights, halter tops, tube tops, and tank tops with shoulder straps less than three inches wide, see-through garments and skirts shorter than four inches above the knee.
The board will vote on the proposed changes June 24.
