The City Council on Tuesday will decide whether to submit a grant application for funds to install emergency call boxes on the La Palma Promenade. The city hopes to obtain $2,500 from the private California Greenways Creative Grant program to install the call boxes on the swath of green space formerly known as the Edison right of way.
