Kimberly Ann Hartman; School Library Aide

Kimberly Ann Hartman, a library aide at Portola Elementary School, died at her Ventura home Monday following a lengthy illness. She was 39.
She was born Aug. 15, 1959, in Lincoln, Neb. Later she moved to Mission Viejo and 19 years ago she made Ventura her home.
Hartman had been a volunteer at the Ventura school library for 11 years.
Her sister, Amy Wilson of Lompoc, said that Hartman enjoyed reading and that she had a good sense of humor.
Hartman was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ventura.
In addition to her sister, Hartman is survived by her parents, Gale and Bette Hartman of Ventura, and a grandmother, Lucille Bray of Ventura.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Hartman’s name to the American Cancer Society, the Portola Elementary School Library or the First United Methodist Church in Ventura.
Memorial services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church of Ventura, with the Rev. Amy M. Aitken officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ted Mayr Funeral Home in Ventura.
