The City Council recently approved a $1,785,400 underground utility district. Homeowners in the Calle de Los Alamos, Los Lobos Marinos, West Avenida Gaviota and West Avenida Valencia areas will pay $17,418 each over the next 20 years to bury power and other utility lines in their neighborhoods.
