Residents shouldn’t worry if they hear loud explosions or feel low rumbling today: The disturbances are caused by routine Marine training at Camp Pendleton. The 7th Engineer Support Battalion will be training with line charges between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Although training takes place near the center of the base, explosions can be heard up to 75 miles away.
