The Planning Commission tonight will hold a public hearing and then vote on whether to annex Midbury Street, in an unincorporated part of Los Angeles County, into Brea. The neighborhood, which has 42 homes and four vacant lots, is just north of Brea city limits. Midbury residents, who have had Brea mailing addresses for more than 20 years, requested the annexation. If the request is approved, Midbury could become a part of Brea within a year. The commission meets at 7 p.m. in council chambers on the plaza level of the Brea Civic & Cultural Center, 1 Civic Center Circle.
