SMTEK to Partner With Medical Manufacturer

SMTEK International in Thousand Oaks announced it has signed a partnership agreement with an unspecified manufacturer to produce and test electronic assemblies for a medical device manufacturer.
“This is a long-term engagement which we expect to ramp up to an annual run rate of $15 million in the first year,” said company President Gregory L. Horton. “We anticipate that production deliveries will commence in September.”
SMTEK provides electronics manufacturing services to the computer, telecommunications, instrumentation, medical, industrial and aerospace industries.
