A right-turn lane and an additional left-turn lane in both directions of Westminster Avenue and a right-turn lane and bus turnout in the southbound lanes of Brookhurst Street will be constructed under a plan approved recently by the City Council. The projects, which will cost $647,700, will improve traffic flow at the heavily congested intersection, officials said. Money for the project will come from Measure M funds, the half-cent sales tax approved by Orange County voters in 1990 for transportation improvements. Information: (714) 741-5375.
