The city is planning to add slurry seal to 11 streets in College Park East and Old Town within the next three weeks. The seal coats the top layer of the streets, extending their use and saving the city money in repaving costs, assistant city engineer Doug Dancs said. The streets will be closed for the morning and early afternoon on days when the seal is added. The project will cost $64,605.
