CLEVELAND — A car crash into a guardrail severed the left lower arm of an Ohio man, who then drove home, local authorities said Friday.
Randall Garner, 41, was “resting comfortably and in fair condition” after the accident Thursday night, said James Winkler, a spokesman for Medical College Hospital in Toledo.
Police said Garner, who called 911 and reported the accident, had been drinking. His hand and arm were found in his sport utility vehicle.
Winkler said that the family requested that no further information be released about Garner.
