* Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Ventura County will host fund-raising bingo contests from noon to 6 p.m. today at 3503 Arundell Circle, Ventura. Westlake High to Sponsor Benefit Games

* Westlake High School will sponsor benefit bingo games Wednesday beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria, 100 N. Lakeview Canyon Road, Westlake Village. Proceeds will go toward academic programs and other school activities. Bingo will continue each Wednesday. Information: 241-4407.

Benefit Concert to Help Area Libraries

* Folk-acoustic musician Bill Hearne will present a benefit concert at 8 p.m. Jan. 16 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Heart Association Sponsors Run and Walk

* The American Heart Assn. will sponsor the Ojai Valley Heart and Sole run and walk Feb. 13 beginning at Sarzotti Park, 510 Park Road, Ojai. Check-in will begin at 7 a.m., with the 5K walk and the run starting at 8 a.m., a 10K walk and run at 8:45 a.m. and a 1-mile family fun run at 8:55 a.m. $20 general, $8 children 18 and younger for the 5K and 10K; $6 for the fun run. Cancer Center to Put on Fashion Show

* Ventura County cancer survivors will serve as the models for the Cancer Center of Ventura County’s annual Heart and Soul of Fashion Show from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 20 at the Residence Inn by Marriott at River Ridge, 2101 Vineyard Ave., Oxnard. The guest speakers, Dr. Rosemary McIntyre and and dietitian Susan Speer, will discuss the latest research in breast cancer and nutrition. $30 per person, $55 per couple. Reservations: 988-2641.

Participants Sought for Arts, Crafts Festival

* The Conejo Recreation and Park District is registering vendors for its 12th annual Spring Art and Craft Festival on March 13 and 14 at the Borchard Community Center in Newbury Park. The cost for vendor space is $75 for two days. Proceeds will support the community center’s programs. Information: 381-2791.
