Ice Dogs Defeat Kansas City

Dan Lambert scored two first-period goals and Nathan LaFayette had one goal and two assists as the Long Beach Ice Dogs defeated the Kansas City Blades, 4-3, Saturday night at Long Beach Arena.
The Ice Dogs (38-21-3) remain in second place in the Southwest Division of the International Hockey League’s Western Conference. They are 5-0 since the return of top scorers Patrik Augusta and Lambert.
