Ryan Kane of Temecula Valley improved his record to 49-0 by winning the 160-pound division at the Southern Section Masters Meet at Fountain Valley.
Santa Ana qualified seven wrestlers, defending state champion Santa Ana Calvary Chapel qualified six and Temecula Valley four for next week’s state meet at the Southern Section Masters meet at Fountain Valley.
The top eight finishers in each of the 14 weight classes will compete in the state meet Friday and Saturday at the University of Pacific in Stockton.
