Former Police Chief Beat Anwar, He Says

Malaysia’s former police chief, Rahim Noor, admitted that he assaulted sacked Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim during detention. Rahim’s lawyer told a royal commission investigating injuries Anwar suffered after being arrested in September that his client had instructed him to admit to the assault.
