Olowokandi Is Questionable

The winless Clippers can only hope that rookie center Michael Olowokandi’s MRI test, scheduled for this morning on his right knee, comes up negative and he’s available for tonight’s game at Utah.
The Clippers will need everything possible to end an 18-game losing streak at the Delta Center.
Olowokandi worked out but did not scrimmage Sunday and stayed in Southern California while the Clippers traveled to Utah. Following his MRI test, Olowokandi is expected to join the team in Salt Lake City and play tonight, according to Coach Chris Ford.
Starting with tonight’s game, the Clippers will play five games in six days.
Sherman Douglas, who sat out Saturday’s loss to Dallas because of a groin injury, practiced Sunday and is listed as probable for tonight.
Tonight at Utah, 6, FSW2

Update--This is a battle people surely did not cry for during the lockout. Utah, the two-time defending Western Conference champion, has won eight of its first nine games and is coming off an impressive victory over Seattle on Saturday. The Clippers, who have not won in Utah during the regular season since April 18, 1989, are the league’s last team without a victory.
