Tom Wilson, county supervisor for the 5th District, recently appointed City Councilman Mike Ward to the county Waste Management Commission; his term will end Nov. 18, 2000. The advisory board reports to the Board of Supervisors on municipal solid waste management, operation and maintenance of county landfills, and household hazardous waste.
