LAGUNA HILLS
Former Orange County Supervisor Marian Bergeson recently announced her endorsement of cityhood for Leisure World. On March 2, about 15,000 registered voters will decide whether the gated retirement community should become the county’s 32nd city. Other ballot measures will include City Council elections, the process for future city elections and a city name--Laguna Woods or Laguna Verde.
