Free developmental screenings for children under 5 will be offered from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Mabel Paine Elementary School. Early-childhood specialists will screen for speech, language, vision, motor skills and other developmental milestones. Parents may obtain parent-to-parent support, referrals to community resources and other information. The school address is 444 Plumosa Drive. Spanish translation will be available.
