Anaheim Man Dies After Crashing Car
A 23-year-old Anaheim man, driving at speeds of more than 100 mph, was killed Tuesday after he lost control of his car and hit a van that had stopped on the shoulder of the Riverside Freeway in Anaheim.
Randy Keith Cuatico died at Martin Luther Hospital in Anaheim shortly after the 11:18 a.m. crash. The driver of the van, Christie Cooper, 31, of Lakewood, was hospitalized. She was listed in fair condition Tuesday evening.
Cuatico, trying to squeeze between two big rigs, lost control of his car, hit a sound wall east of Brookhurst Street and slammed into the van, police said.
