The Washington, D.C.-based Citizens for a Sound Economy and Rep. Ed Royce (R-Fullerton) are holding a town meeting Feb. 17 to talk taxes. Royce and Matt Kibbe, the nonprofit, nonpartisan group’s executive vice president, will speak at the free two-hour event, which begins at 7 p.m. at 695 Madison Way. Kibbe is the former director of federal budget policy for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. They will lead discussions on the flat tax, the simplification of tax codes, tax reductions and tax reform.
