The Garden Grove Unified trustees recently approved the district’s Library Action Plan, a prerequisite for receiving $1.3 million for improvements through the California Public School Library Act and the California School Library Protection Fund. The money is earmarked for books, periodicals, computer software and support equipment. The initial phase of the district’s plan lays the foundation for the transformation of school libraries into library-media centers. Information: (714) 663-6503.
