In another Sunset League game:
Marina 1, Fountain Valley 0--Freshman Lindsay Megill scored her first goal of the season, on a free kick from about 40 yards in the 79th minute for Marina (10-9-3, 3-4). Cari Delaney had nine saves in her 10th shutout for the Vikings.
In the Century League:
El Modena 2, Orange 1--Chandice Williams and Elonne Wilson scored for the Vanguards (10-5-2, 5-1-1).
In the Freeway League:
Sonora 2, Troy 1--Shannon Bryant scored the go-ahead goal in the second half for first-place Sonora (12-6-3, 5-0-2). Grace Yoo had scored earlier in the second half for Troy (5-12-3, 2-3-2).
In the Orange League:
Savanna 1, Anaheim 1--Leonor Barrajas tied the score in the 70th minute for Anaheim (6-6-3, 3-2-2). Regina Mokhtari had given Savanna (2-12-3, 2-4-1) a 1-0 lead in the 15th minute.
In the Pacific Coast League:
No. 7 Laguna Hills 4, Laguna Beach 0--Emily Wallerstein, Lindsey Balzhiser and Vanessa Rocha scored first-half goals for Laguna Hills (18-2-2, 5-0-2).
University 2, Costa Mesa 1--University’s Parim Espahbodi scored first with a bicycle kick from close range. Allyson Marquand scored the Trojans’ second goal with a shot from 40 yards at the 60th minute. Nicole Jankowski scored for Costa Mesa (8-9-2, 2-5) in the 68th minute. University is 8-5-7, 3-1-3.
In the Sea View League:
No. 3 Woodbridge 3, Corona del Mar 1--Ina Kain had two goals and an assist to lead visiting Woodbridge (12-2-6, 3-0-4). Corona del Mar is 10-4-1, 2-4-1.
