ANAHEIM
An extensive study that evaluates the potential environmental effects of a proposed outdoor retail, entertainment and hotel complex is available for public review. The study concludes that while there are impacts associated with the project, they have been reduced to insignificant levels.
Pointe Anaheim is proposed for a 29-acre site across from Disneyland. The $450-million project includes restaurant and entertainment uses, two to three hotels with a total of 1,050 rooms, live performance theaters and a family entertainment center.
The public review period ends Feb. 22. The document is available for viewing at the city’s libraries and at the Planning Department counter at City Hall, 200 S. Anaheim Blvd. The document can also be purchased. City approval of the project is expected to be considered this spring. Information: (714) 765-5139.
