Smartflex Systems Completes Tanon Buy

Tustin-based Smartflex Systems Inc. said it has completed its purchase of certain assets of Tanon Manufacturing Inc. for about $15 million.

Tanon, which has facilities in West Long Branch, N.J., and Fremont, provides electronic manufacturing services for the telecommunications, industrial controls, performance printing, automotive and medical marketplaces. It is a subsidiary of EA Industries Inc. Smartflex makes electronics components.
