Dental / Medical Diagnostic Systems has entered into a $6.8-million credit agreement with Imperial Bank, which will allow the Westlake Village company to use the money for working-capital purposes and to pay off private-placement debts of $4.7 million due March 18.
Robert H. Gurevitch, chairman and chief executive officer of Dental / Medical Diagnostic Systems, said that with the recent launch of Apollo 95E products, and the expected launch of a digital radiography system, the company anticipates “a growth in revenue in the upcoming months.”
“The credit [agreement] . . . will give us the financial flexibility to support our growth plans,” Gurevitch said.
Dental / Medical Diagnostic Systems designs high-technology dental equipment. Currently, the company sells an intra-oral camera system known as the TeliCam System and a dental office networking system known as InTELInet.
Shipping of the company’s tooth-whitening and curing system, the Apollo 95E, began in the first quarter of last year outside the United States and Canada and domestically in the third quarter.
