Anaheim-based Database Publishing Co. was acquired by a Cleveland firm in an all-cash deal that will reduce Database’s staff from 38 employees to about 15, the companies announced Monday.
Harris InfoSource, which compiles information about manufacturers and their officers, will use Database Publishing to service and support its West Coast customers. Database Publishing also compiles information on manufacturers and wholesalers in 12 Western states, but those functions are redundant to Harris.
