San Diego State 80, Cal State Fullerton 51--San Diego State (3-8) outscored the Titans (0-9) by 15 points in the first half and 14 points in the second half to win easily.

In the Vanguard women’s tournament:

Concordia 88, La Sierra 39--Concordia forced 38 turnovers and held La Sierra to 29% shooting from the field. Jamie Gast had 19 points and 10 rebounds for Concordia (9-2).

Vanguard 67, Evangel (Mo.) 56--Marisa Emde and Laura Lee scored 15 points each as Vanguard (11-2) won to extend its home-court winning streak to 43 games. The Lions trailed by 11 at the half but then outscored Evangel (5-6), 43-21.

In nonconference men’s basketball:

Vanguard 75, Montana State 71--Vanguard overcame an eight-point halftime deficit to earn its fourth consecutive come-from-behind victory. John Kohlhaas scored 19 points and had eight rebounds for Vanguard (8-4).
