Sacramento Jesuit 64, Simi Valley 59--Branduinn Fullove scored 15 points and Brett Michel had 14 but the Pioneers fell in the ninth-place game of the Classic Division in the Nike Prep Basketball Classic at Torrey Pines High.
Simi Valley (11-2), ranked No. 1 in the region by The Times, fell short after trailing, 41-18, at halftime.
Anish Sharda hit three three-point shots and finished with 12 points for the Pioneers.
Montclair Prep 73, La Canada 58--Josiah Johnson scored 13 of his 32 points in the fourth quarter and Andre Freeman added 20 points for the Mounties (8-5), who won the seventh-place game of the La Salle-Temple City tournament.
St. Genevieve 61, Rolling Hills 59--Jason Deluna made a three-pointer late in the fourth quarter to put the Valiants to stay during the third-place game of the Ribet tournament.
Deluna had 21 points and 10 rebounds.
Richie Calzada added 15 points and four steals for St. Genevieve (8-2).
Newbury Park 53, Santa Maria 46--Forward Matt Currie had 22 points, 17 rebounds and three blocked shots and the Panthers (6-5) won the fifth-place game at the Atascadero tournament.
Channel Islands 66, Rio Mesa 46--Manny Berrelleza made six three-pointers and finished with 25 points, and the Raiders (9-5) won the third-place game of the Ventura tournament.
Mike Keddington had 13 rebounds for Channel Islands (9-5).
San Pedro 51, Buena 49--Cameron Watts sank a short jump shot with seven seconds remaining to give San Pedro fifth place in the Ventura tournament.
Ryan Cobos hit the rim with a three-point attempt for Buena (4-11) as time expired.
