** 1/2 Sarah Dougher, “Day One,†K Records. Indie rock is no longer much in fashion, and maybe it was never meant to be. The extended Sleater-Kinney family of Olympia, Wash., can at least take satisfaction in music that communicates a measure of warmth and intelligence. Dougher, singer-keyboardist for the Sleater-Kinney offshoot Cadallaca, is rooted in that same sound, and her solo debut offers a bare-bones, sometimes sloppy rendition via the upbeat “Hold the Bar†and the melancholy “Everywhere West.†Not all the songs are up to that memorable standard, but Dougher’s romantic meditations suggest that the Northwest scene is still a crowd worth listening to.
