Organized by the Parks, Recreation and Community Service Department, the community meeting was planned to evaluate the skate park’s first six months of operation and to encourage fund-raising opportunities. The meeting will be in the council chambers at 7 p.m. The operating hours of the privately funded park are 3 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The skate park is at Zoeter Park, adjacent to 12th Street and Pacific Coast Highway. Information: (562) 431-2527, Ext. 328.
