Professor May Be Unwelcome in Class
In your Aug. 22 story headlined “The New School Click,” a USC professor is quoted as saying, “To me the best way to judge a school is just randomly walk in a classroom and see what’s going on.”
I can’t believe this is a serious suggestion.
Doesn’t he know that schools want all visitors to check in at the office, for security reasons? Visitors should not be wandering around schools for the safety of everyone on campus.
Also, If I were teaching, I would not appreciate people walking in and disrupting the flow of a lesson.
