Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corp. may soon sell more than just hot glazed doughnuts. The Winston-Salem, N.C.-based company is considering an initial public offering of its common stock, the company said Thursday. Executives said they plan to file registration papers for a possible IPO in early 2000.
