Recording Academy Offers $250,000 in Music Grants
Applications for the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences’ annual grant program are now available, with an application deadline of Oct. 1.
A total of $250,000--50% more than last year--will be awarded “to further the development and completion of projects that will benefit the music community and society at large.â€
Grants are available in three categories: projects involving the archiving and preservation of the music and recorded sound heritage of the Americas; research projects related to the impact of music on human development; and programs aiding the medical and occupational well-being of music professionals.
The grants range from $10,000 to $20,000, with priority given to projects of national significance.
