Bike Path

* While riding every day, I notice that there are several signs placed near the [Sepulveda Basin] bike path advising us to watch out for pedestrians. Since this is a bike path, how about some signs asking pedestrians to walk on a walking path somewhere else?

There are signs around Lake Balboa that the footpath surrounding the lake is for foot traffic. Bicycles are not allowed.

How about giving bicycle riders a bike path for bicycles only, so we do not have to run an obstacle course around pedestrians, Rollerbladers and pedestrians walking their dogs. (There is a park on Victory Boulevard and Louise Avenue just for dogs and their owners.)

Maybe members of the City Council could be asked to donate a small portion of their latest pay raise to help defray the costs of [the] signs
