Corinthian Colleges Inc.
The Santa Ana operator of 37 colleges reported third-quarter net income of $266,000, or 3 cents a share, which included an extraordinary loss of $2 million from early retirement of debt. A year ago, the company earned $442,000, or 6 cents a share. Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 rose 26% to a record $34.9 million, from $27.8 million. Corinthian completed its initial public offering in February.
