As the leader of Supersax, alto player Med Flory is renowned for painstakingly transcribing jazz great Charlie Parker recorded solos and arranging them for full sax section. Away from that group, which Flory will be tonight in Fullerton, he’s a monster bebop reed man in his own right. He’ll be accompanied by trumpeter Carl Saunders and drummer Kim Edmundson.
