Los Alamitos High School is one of several schools in the nation swing dancing to raise money to help children with HIV or AIDS. The school will hold a benefit dance at 7 p.m. May 7 to send one Orange County child with HIV or AIDS to Camp Safe Haven in Martha’s Vineyard, Mass. The winners of the swing contest will appear on the “Rosie O’Donnell Show” along with the winners from two other high schools holding similar contests. Information: Nina Diaz, (714) 761-1687.
