City Council members have decided that they prefer “The Mile” as the new name for the Entertainment Corridor. The council wants to use the name to attract more people to the stretch of Beach Boulevard that includes Knott’s Berry Farm, Movieland Wax Museum and Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament. The council last week voted its preference for The Mile over E Zone, the two names members chose as finalists from a list of four candidates. The city now will consult with business owners for their reaction to the proposed name before taking a final vote on the matter.
